The classic: AARON No.1
integrated
amplifier (1989 > 2002)

 |
|
| Integrated
Amplifiers:
|
|
| No.1
( 1989
> 2002 )

|
The classic! The sound quality of this
integrated amplifier is legendary. Many music lovers even today still value the tonal balance and the precise reproduction of complex sound structures – even on impedance critical speaker systems. That is why many Infinity owners, for example, enjoy their favourite music with an AARON amplifier – especially with the No. 1 of High End
integrated amplifiers. With approx. 2x 80 W at 8 Ohm, 2x 140 W at 4 Ohm, 2x 250 W at 2 Ohm and an impressive 2x 450 W at 1 Ohm, sufficient sound performance is available. Alongside the multitude of connection possibilities for various sources of sound, No.1 was also equipped with a pre-amp output. This makes it possible to connect a second
power amolifier ( No.4, No.3
or No.6 ) for tonally advantageous bi-amping operation, depending on the speakers available. Delivery was carried out for an additional charge, in various cabinet designs from approx. 1,990.00 Euro (*). No.1 was lovingly produced mainly by hand, for well over a decade – the longest ever production of a High End
amplifier. |
| No.5
(
1992
> 2002 )

|
The most popular High End
integrated amplifier. No.5 set a new standard for High End amplifiers, at its premier in 1992. Tonal precision and sufficient power to drive the highest grade speaker systems. With a price-sound ratio which was, until then, unheard of, the No. 5 quickly convinced expert circles and impressed its owners. 2 x 50 W at 8 Ohm, 2 x 90 W at 4 Ohm and an imposing 160 W at 2 Ohm speak for themselves. The resulting sound, the use of high-grade materials and the demanding design made this amplifier a High End product almost without competition in its price category. Like the
No.1, the No.5 also had a pre-amplifier output for operation of a further end stage (bi-amping).
Depending on the cabinet design, this amplifier was available from as little as approx. 1,190.00 Euro (*). No.5 was launched in a limited 5555 special “Anniversary” version on the 5th birthday of the AARON series.

Preamplifiers:
|
|
| No.2
(1990
> 2001)

|
A High End pre-amplifier of a superior class. The high-grade materials, the use of selected construction elements, and a large amount of loving work by hand made this pre-amplifier a dream device for many hi-fi fans. With its numerous connection possibilities for various sources of sound, this pre-amplifier represents the centre of many excellent sounding High End systems. The equipment included 4 high level inputs for CD, tuner, etc., 2 special connections for the AARON
Phono Module, as well as 2 recording devices – with the appropriate monitor switching. For bi-amping purposes, 2 outputs are available for connecting high-grade
power amplifiers, such as No.4, No.3 or
No.6, for example. Music lovers could call this top pre-amplifier from the first AARON series, and dream of many hi-fi fans, their own for approx. 2,290.00 Euro (*). The deserving successor to this pre-amplifier was the current
No.22 Cineast.
|
| No.7
(1993 > 2002 )
|
The best value for money High End pre-amplifier. The sound balance, the high resolution capabilities and the almost unlimited dynamics were and remain more than unusual for a pre-amplifier in this price category. Equipped with the tonal virtues of its big brother
(No.2 ) – but with fewer equipment features, No.7 became a real hit in the mid 90s. Equipped with 5 high level inputs, e.g. for CD, tuner etc., as well as the connection option of a recording device, No.7 met the connection demands of most music lovers. Naturally, this pre-amplifier also had 2 outputs for connecting
a stereo power amplifier, for bi-amping operation of high-grade speakers. In conjunction with stereo
power amplifiers No.6 or No.3, the pre-amplifier No.7 was and is the favourite system offering almost unbeatable value for money. Depending on cabinet design, No.7 was available from 890.00 Euro (*).

Power
Amplifiers:
|
|
| No.4
(1990
> 2001)

|
The
monaural power amplifier in the high performance category – the top product in the first AARON series. The power
amplifiers were and are still used to drive performance-hungry and highly demanding speaker systems. Power and unlimited dynamics for every music experience. 150 Watt at 8 Ohm, 250 W at 4 Ohm, 450 W at 2 Ohm and approx. 800 W at 1 Ohm is provided by every mono block, for absolute listening pleasure. A rich performance with a simultaneously fine resolution of the finest tone structures. Music lovers were able to fulfil this hi-fi dream for 3,450.00 Euro (*) and become owners of a pair of these unique mono end
amplifiers.
|
| No.3
(1990
> 2001)

|
The stereo
power amplifier, No.3, is based on the technology of the legendary No.4
mono blocks. Hi-fi enthusiasts especially value the powerful play and the unique dynamic behaviour of the No. 3 – even on so-called “difficult to operate” speaker systems. Owners of such speaker systems, e.g. those of the larger Infinity models or even electrostatic speakers from other manufacturers, take renewed pleasure in this top amplifier every day. With 2x 80 Watt at 8 Ohm, 2x 140 W at 4 Ohm, 2x 250 W at 2 Ohm and approx. 2x 450 W at 1 Ohm, the No. 3 has more than enough sound performance available. For the price of only 1,750.00 Euro (*) you could count yourself among the proud owners of one of the best stereo
amplifiers. The current model, No.3 Millennium, has taken on the role of successor to this most beautiful stereo
power amplifier.

No.6
(1993 > 2002 )
|
A High End
amplifier which impresses many music lovers all over the world. At the price of only 990.00 Euro (*), No.6 appeared in a price category which had, until then, been dominated by Japanese devices and large-scale products. The superior sound of this most cost-effective High End
power amplifier made music lovers all over the world prick up their ears. The development team was especially pleased with the awards and praise granted to the best value-for-money representative of the High End
amplifiers. Even on the hotly contested Asian market, the No.6 was honoured and celebrated as a “best buy”. With a performance of 2 x 50 Watt at 8 Ohm, 2 x 90 W at 4 Ohm and an imposing 160 W at 2 Ohm, as well as the stability typical to AARON devices, the No. 6 quickly found a place in the hearts of its owners..

| Phono
Module
(
1990
> 2002 )

|
For the fans of vinyl albums, this phono pre-amplifier was an absolute “must“. The possibility to adjust to every
pick-up system was implemented via so-called dip-switches. The luxuriously designed circuit could be adjusted to amplification factor, resistance and capacity, in order to be able to drive any MM or even MC pick-up system, with ideal connection values. The AARON Phono Module was manufactured in 2 designs – as a universal module with its own power supply and as the "AARON-Special", for operating on the 7-pole connection of the
No.1 and No.2. In the latter version, the AARON amplifier supplies the power to the Phono Module. Analogue perfection, which was available from as little as 650.00 Euro(*)..
